Making the Most of Your TIME Means Making the Most of Your MONEY

Time is money. I am sure you have heard that one plenty of times. In business this couldn't get any closer to the truth. Your time is your money and it's up to you to make you time worth more money.

How valuable do you consider your time? You need to know how much money your time is actually worth so you can make calculated decisions on if an activity is actually worth your time. Honestly, if you haven't asked yourself, 'why am I doing this?', with a couple of your daily tasks it's probably about time you did.

I am sure you know how to calculate, although you probably have already, what you make in a week, in an hour. But you want to make more... and you probably should be.

Focus on Money Making Activities. You want to increase the number of hours you spend on activities that are directly making you money. This includes; building new products, marketing existing products, and other money making projects (affiliate, one time special offers). Which means it excludes all the other fun stuff... market research, product research, customer service, e-mails, voice mails, personals websites... basically anything you could (hopefully) trust someone else to do.

STAY FOCUSED when you are working on your money making activities. Turn off you phone, don't have a coffee and a pastry by the computer... and please go to the bathroom before you sit down for an hour or two of dedicated work. You will seriously be surprised in how much you can accomplish and how much money you can make in two hours if you don't allow you train of concentration to be broken and you don't allow yourself the liberty of being distracted.

An object in motion stays in motion and you don't want to loose that momentum baby... you want to ride that train to success. And I wish I could, but I'm not going to develop a good product by the time it needs to be completed with a coffee in one hand and a cell phone in the other. With power comes responsibility, with responsibility comes sacrifice. But when you have a 65 thousand dollar a month business, the majority of it running itself, you realize just how much that responsibility and sacrifice was worth it.
